RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE SERVICES
PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution
dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together
with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services
Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Patryce Engel be appointed to said
committee to replace William Starks, as the District Attorney representative; Shannon Lyons to
replace Jeri Shepherd as the Public Defender representative; Charles Howard to replace Dan
Dailey as the mental health representative; Kristen Arnold to replace Bill Wendt as the
alcohol/drug treatment provider representative; Charlie Dalpra to replace Linda Perez as the
employment representative; and Jack Statler to replace Juan Cruz as the law enforcement
representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Patryce Engel be appointed to said committee to replace
William Starks as the District Attorney representative; Shannon Lyons to replace Jeri Shepherd
as the Public Defender representative; Charles Howard to replace Dan Dailey as the mental
health representative; Kristen Arnold to replace Bill Wendt as the alcohol/drug treatment
provider representative; Charlie Dalpra to replace Linda Perez as the employment
representative; and Jack Statler to replace Juan Cruz as the law enforcement representative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Patryce Engel, Shannon Lyons, Charles Howard, Kristen Arnold,
Charlie Dalpra, and Jack Statler, be, and hereby are, recommended to the Chief Judge of the
Judicial District for appointments to the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee.

APPOINTMENT TO LOCAL JUVENILE SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE
Pursuant to CRS 19-2-1602.7, and upon the recommendations of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
IT IS ORDERED:
The following individuals are appointed to the Juvenile Services Planning
Committee for the Nineteenth Judicial District.
Patryce Engel is appointed to replace William Starks as the District Attorney
Representative.
Shannon Lyons is appointed to replace Jeri Shepherd as Public Defender
representative.
Charles Howard is appointed to replace Dan Dailey as the mental health
representative.
Kristen Arnold is appointed to replace Bill Wendt as the alcohol/drug treatment
provider representative.
Charlie Dalpra is appointed to replace Linda Perez as the employment
representative.
Jack Statler is appointed to replace Juan Cruz as the law enforcement
representative.
