Nature or purposes of the assembly: Secondin a series of three one day Motocross races, sanctioned by the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) to be held at Leahy Family Farm at Milliken, CO. Board Members and officials (referee, score keepers, flaggers) of the local chapter (Rocky Mountain Motocross Association - RMXA) will be on site for the entire day. Again, the event is held outdoors, on approximately 50 acres of fenced private land. 3. Dates and hours during which the assembly is to be held: Marrh 79. 1998 Gates open at 6 am, for sign -in, event will begin at 8 and continue until 5:30 pm. approximately. 4. Maximum number of persons to be allowed at assembly at any one time: There is no maximum number. We expect 300 to 600 people. 5. The maximum number of tickets to be sold, if any: no maximum number 6. Identify plans to limit number of persons to the maximum identified above: N/A Riders are limited to 40 per class by AMA rules. 7. Identify plans for supplying potable (drinking) water, including the source, number, and location of facilities: Bottled water is available in a vending machine which has been supplied by Hinckley -Schmitt, 4120 Globeville Rd., Denver, CO. The vending machine holds 200 1/2 liter athletic pop-up cap plastic bottles for individual consumption. It is housed in the building used for sign -in, public toilet facilities, and centrally located. Most people who come to these events will bring their own water. Riders us their own water for drinking and for cleaning. 2 Identify the plans for providing separate toilet facies for males and females, including the source, number, and location, type and the means of disposing of wastes deposited: Two permanent toilets and one handicapped accessible toilet are located in the sign -in building, located to the east of the parking lot. In addition, there are 5 portable units on the site. Accommodation Sanitation, PO Box 5261, Greeley, CO provides the units and cleans and services them weekly. 9. Identify the plans for holding, collecting, and disposing of solid waste materials: Disposal of waste is done by Accommodation Sanitati^n week after the race. In addition, trash is picked by and removed by Bunting Trash Management, Evans, CO. 10. Identify the plans to provide for medical facilities, including the location and construction of any structures, the names, addresses, and hours of availability of emergency medical technicians and nurses and provisions for emergency ambulance service: All AMA sanctioned races require emergency medical units be on site for the entire day. The contracted company for all RMXA events is: Rocky Mountain Fire and Rescue Service, 8061 Quebec St., Commerce City, Co, 80022. If someone is injured , they call an ambulance service to transport, rather than leave the site. 11. Identify the plans, if any, to illuminate the location of the assembly, including the source and amount of power, and the location of lamps: N/A event is daytime only. 3 q &w/3 12. They were asked if they would come again and said they would, but one would prefer to be on horseback. We felt their presence was positive and would like to continue to have them at our races. Identify the plans for sound control and sound amplification, if any, including number, location, and power of amplifiers and speakers: Speakers, amplifier and a wireless microph�__ .._,e used at the race in January. It was purchased and installed with help from Soundstage Production Engineering_ 891 F 16th Street, Greeley, CO. The speakers are near the east end of the parking lot and very little drift of announcing should occur, as they are located quite a distance from the edge of the property. They are aimed west and northwest. 18. If applicable, identify plans for meeting County health standards for food concessions and concessionaires who will be allowed to operate on the grounds, including the names and addresses of all concessionaires and their license permit numbers: Undetermined at the date of submittal. Leahy Family Farm will apply for a temporary permit again, but other vendors have not called hack with license permit number. Identify the plans to ensure that trees, underbrush, large rocks, and other natural features shall be left intact and undisturbed, and natural vegetative cover retained, protected and maintained so as to facilitate drainage, prevent erosion, and preserve the scenic attributes; and the plans to abate dust on the site: We are required by Weld County to control fugitive dust on the site at all times, and vegetation and land- scaping are critical. Signs are posted at the gate and 6 other places on the property stating "NO OFF -ROAD DRIVING. In addition, an announcement is made periodically, reminding riders and spectators of the rules. There are no large rocks on the property. 21.
