RE: INCREASE CHANGE FUND IN WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
AND ENVIRONMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the Board that the Change Fund in the Weld
County Department of Public Health and Environment be increased by $50.00, and
WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable to increase the Change
Fund in the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Comptroller be, and hereby is, authorized to increase the Change Fund
in the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment by $50.00.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 26th day of April, A.D., 1999.

Increasing Amount of Health Department Change Fund
This memo is to request the Health Department's change fund be increased by $50. This $50
will be designated as a change fund for the Environmental Health Division at our new location.
Currently, EH is located directly across the hall from the Administration Division. When the
need arises, staff members go across the hall to get change for customers paying for services.
When we move to the new north site at the beginning of May, EH will be located on the second
floor and Administration on the first floor. Not only would it be inconvenient, but also we
would not be providing good service if customers had to wait while their currency was being
changed.
If this additional change fund is approved, the money would be locked in the Administration
Division's safe at the close of each business day. This safe will be located in the secured vital
records room in the new building.
