RE: APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF DEED OF DEDICATION AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO
SIGN - MARTY K. MATHEWS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Deed of Dedication for an extension
of Lamb Avenue between Marty K. Mathews, 15024 Mary Avenue, Fort Lupton, Colorado
80621, and the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, with terms and
conditions being as stated in said deed of dedication, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to accept said deed of
dedication, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Deed of Dedication between Marty K. Mathews, and the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works be, and hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said acceptance.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of September, A.D., 1999.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that MARTY K. MATHEWS of 15024 Mary
Avenue,Fort Lupton, CO 80621, being the owner of all of the following described property in Weld
County, Colorado, to-wit: See Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated by this reference, do
hereby dedicate forever said property as a public highway, pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute
43-2-201(1)(a), free and clear of all liens and encumbrances and warrant title to the same.

That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 2 North, Range 66 West of the
6th P.M. Weld County, Colorado described as:
Commencing at the Southwest Corner of said Section 27:
Thence N 0°00'00"W, a distance of 1444.61 feet along the West line of said Section 27 to the West
extension of the South Right-of-way of Lamb Avenue;
Thence N 90°00'00" E, a distance of30.00 feet along said West extension to the point of beginning;
Thence continuing N 90° 00' 00" E along said line, a distance of 416.00 feet to the boundary of
Aristocrat Ranchettes Second Filing;
Thence N 0° 00' 00" E, a distance of 2.36 feet to the point of curvature of a tangent curve concave
to the East, having a radius of 180.00 feet and a central angle of 16° 50' 20";
Thence North along said curve and the boundary of Aristocrat Ranchettes Second Filing, a distance
of 52.90 feet;
Thence N 16°50'20"E, a distance of 5.74 feet along the boundary of Aristocrat Ranchettes Second
Filing to the West extension of the North Right-of-way of Lamb Avenue;
Thence N 90°00'00" W, a distance of 425.38 feet along said West extension to a line that is parallel
with and 30.0 feet East (measured at a right angle) of said West line of Section 27;
Then S 0° 00' 00" E, a distance of 60.00 feet along said line to the point of beginning.

ACCEPTANCE
The County of Weld, a body corporate and politic of the State of Colorado, by and through
its Board of County Commissioners, hereby accepts the above dedication of property as a public
highway pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute 43-2-201(1)(a). This acceptance shall not constitute
acceptance for maintenance by the County unless and until the road is improved to County standards
and accepted for maintenance by separate action of the Board of County Commissioners.
