RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REASSIGNMENT TO BOARD OF PUBLIC
HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Clay Moran and Roy Spitzer be appointed to
said board, to replace Ann Garrison as the District 4 representative and Ben Slater as an
at -large representative, respectively, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ben Slater be reassigned from at -large
representative to District 3 representative to replace Donna Meier, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Clay Moran and Roy Spitzer to
said board, with their terms to expire May 23, 2000, and May 23, 1998, respectively, and to
reassign Ben Slater, with his term to expire May 23, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Clay Moran and Roy Spitzer be, and hereby are, appointed to the
respectively.
Board of Public Health, with their terms to expire May 23, 2000, and May 23, 1998,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Ben Slater be, and hereby is, reassigned to
District 3, with a term to expire May 23, 1998.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of June, A.D., 1997.
