RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY FAIR
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that be Todd Thomas be appointed to said
board, to fill the unexpired term of Glen Rask, and the following individuals be reappointed:
Kara Frank, Mike Pallotto, Mary Ellen LaBlanc, Pat Kindvall, Evelyn Hoffman, and Margaret
Carlson, and
WHEREAS, it has also been recommended that, in accordance with the new bylaws,
Willard Kendall be designated as the Cache La Poudre FFA District representative and Ryan
Pfannebecker be appointed as the 4-H Youth Executive Council representative to replace
Howard Erwin, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Todd Thomas to said board, with
his term to expire October 31, 1997, and to reappoint Kara Frank, Mike Pallotto, Mary Ellen
LaBlanc, Pat Kindvall, Evelyn Hoffman, and Margaret Carlson, with their terms to expire
October 31, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the Board also deems it advisable, in accordance with the new bylaws, to
designate Willard Kendall as the Cache La Poudre FFA District representative, with his term to
expire October 31, 1998, and to appoint Ryan Pfannebecker as the 4-H Youth Executive
Council representative, with his term to expire October 31, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Todd Thomas be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld County
Fair Board, with his term to expire October 31, 1997, and that Kara Frank, Mike Pallotto, Mary
Ellen LaBlanc, Pat Kindvall, Evelyn Hoffman, and Margaret Carlson, be, and hereby are,
reappointed to said board, with their terms to expire October 31, 1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Willard Kendall be, and hereby is,
designated as the Cache La Poudre FFA District representative, with his term to expire
October 31, 1998, and that Ryan Pfannebecker be, and hereby is, appointed as the 4-H Youth
Executive Council representative, with his term to expire October 31, 1999.
