RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR
CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF THE ADDITIONAL WIRING (PUBLIC
WORKS AND SOCIAL SERVICES BUILDINGS) BID - PHONE SERVICES
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution #990048, dated January 6, 1999, the Board did approve the
Wiring Bid (Health Building) Bid, Request No. B9800262, from H & H Data Services, on an
emergency basis, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Purchasing has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting
period for Additional Wiring (Public Works and Social Services Buildings) for the Phone
Services Department, Bid Request No. B9800262, to proceed with the additional projects at the
new Public Works and Social Services Buildings, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the ten-
day waiting period for said bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for the Additional Wiring (Public Works
and Social Services Buildings) for the Phone Services Department, Bid Request No. 69800262
be, and hereby is, waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from H & H Data Services
be, and hereby is, amended to include an additional $52,653.53.
