RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE VACATION OF SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#800 - SIMPLOT
SOILBUILDERS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated September 9, 1987, the Board did approve Special
Review Permit#800 for an Agri-Business for Anhydrous Ammonia and Liquid Fertilizer Storage
for Simplot Soilbuilders on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the NWY4 of Section 18, Township 1 North, Range 63 West
of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services staff recommended the vacation of
Special Review Permit#800 due to abandonment of the permitted use and the request received
from the current property owner for vacation of Special Review Permit#800, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of
the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this
matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Special Review Permit#800 be, and hereby is, vacated.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 30th day of November, A.D., 1998.

SUBJECT: Vacation of USR-800
The Department of Planning Services recommends vacating USR-800 for the following reasons:
1. USR-800 was permitted for an Agricultural Business and Storage for anhydrous
ammonia. This use has been abandoned.
2. The current use is for a principal dwelling and agricultural uses allowed by right.
3. The current owner has sent a letter requesting the vacation of USR-800.
