Growth Will Be the Topic for County Officials
at Weld County Council Meeting in Mead August 19
The Weld County Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. August 19, 1997 at the Mead
Town Hall, 441 3rd Street, Mead, CO.
Weld County Commissioner Connie Harbert and Weld County Planning Director
Monica Daniels-Mika will be the guest speakers. They will speak about growth in
business and residences at the County level. Related topics that will be discussed
include:
Does the County allow growth to occur in the County rather than in
County towns?
From the County's perspective what determines whether a
developer develops in the County rather than in a town?
When development occurs in a town is it influenced by the
County's Comprehensive Plan?
The public is invited to attend the Council meeting and provide ideas on any
issues concerning County government. Please call the Council office at 356-4000 x
4780 if more information is needed.
The Council will have supper at Wag's Place, 4322 Hwy. 66 prior to the Council
meeting.
