ACCEPT QUIT CLAIM DEED
FROM DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS
MISSILE ACCESS ROADS:
WHEREAS, certain parcels of land adjacent to County Highways are
needed to improve said highways for use by the Federal Government to service
Missile installations at various locations in Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the Colorado Department of Highways has submitted a Quit
Claim Deed for the said parcels of land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that the Quit Claim Deed for the above mentioned
parcels of land is hereby accepted and the Clerk be directed to record same.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

THIS DEED, Made this 10thday of .March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and sixty-five between THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, STATE OF COLORADO, of the
first part, and WELD COUNTY, OF THE STATE OF COLORADO, of the second part,
With SETH, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the
sum of One Dollar and other valuable consideration to the said party of the first
part in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is
hereby confessed and acknowledged, has remised, released, sold, conveyed and
Quit -Claimed, and by these presents does remise, release, sell convey and Quit -
Claim unto the said party of the second part, its heirs and assigns forever, all
the right, title, interest, claim and demand which said party of the first part
has in and to the following described parcels situate, lying and being in the
County of Weld and State of Colorado, to -wit:
A tract or parcel of land No. 1 of Colorado Department of Highways Project
No. RAD 36(1) containing 0.01 acres, more or less, in the SW ; of the SW * of
Section 14, Township 11 North, Range 60 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, in
Weld County, Colorado, said tract or parcel being more particularly described as
follows:
A triangular tract of land, located in the southwest corner of Section 14,
T. 11 N., R. 60 W. The southerly and westerly boundaries of said tract coincide
with the existing northerly and easterly County Road right of way limits, and said
triangular tract measures 30 feet along each of the above described boundaries.
Said County Road right.of way limits to coincide with existing right of way
lines or fences.
The above described parcel contains 0.01 acre, more or less.

Reserving unto the grantor or grantors all coal, oil, gas and other hydro-
carbons, and all clay and other valuable minerals in and under said premises; provid-
ed, however, and the grantor or grantors hereby covenant and agree, that the grantee
shall forever have the right to take and use, without payment of further compensa-
tion to the grantor or grantors, any and all sand, gravel, earth, rock and other

tion for, or development of any of the products hereby reserved, will ever be conduc-

premises, the grantor or grantors shall perform no act which may impair the sub-

As you are aware, this Department acquired for the United
States Government, certain parcels of land adjacent to County
highways which were needed to improve said highways for use by
the Government to service Missile Installations at various
locations in Weld County.

Deeds for the above parcels were taken to the Department
of Highways, State of Colorado. Due to the fact that all parcels
are on Countythighways rather than State Highways, this Depart—
ment is deeding same to Weld County by Quit Claim Deed which is
attached as agreed.
Your attention is called to the fact that the Deed has been`
fully executed by the Department and also that same should be /
recorded by the County.
If you should have any question relative to the above,
please do not hesitate to contact us.
