RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE VACATION OF PORTION OF FORMER RIGHT-OF-WAY OF WELD
COUNTY ROAD 392 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with the vacation of a portion of former
right-of-way of Weld County Road 392, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 23rd day of December, at
which time the Board considered the recommendation of the Weld County Public Works
Department to vacate that portion of the former right-of-way on Weld County Road 392, which
is located in Section 17, Township 7 North, Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado, as described and shown on the attached Exhibit, and
WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deemed it advisable to approve said
vacation of right-of-way to Dorothy Bolin, 36043 Weld County Road 49, Eaton, Colorado
80615-9404.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the vacation of that portion of Weld County Road 392 as described
in the attached Exhibit be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign any and all necessary documents pertaining to said vacation.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of December, A.D., 1996.

A STRIP OF LAND 60 FEET IN WIDTH LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 17,
TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 62 WEST OF THE SIXTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, WELD COUNTY,

.On Monday,December 23, 1996,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado,will consider the vacation of a portion of the former right-of--way of Weld.County
~4;Road("WCR") 392. Specifically,that portion of the road right-of-way to be vacated will be the
,stretch located in Section 17, Township 7 North,Range 62.LW,...est which is described and shown
inthe enclosed documents. WCR 392 was improved about ne year ago The"curve m the #
roadway at this approximate location was smoothed out and thereby made easier to negotiate.
The hearing before the Board will take place in the Board's First Floor Hearing Room,Weld
Centennial Center, 915 Tenth Street, Greeley, Colorado. The hearing will take place at 9:00 a.m.
You may be present at that time to offer any testimony regarding your request for vacation,but it
is not necessary for you to p attend.
