RE: APPROVE SERVICE ENHANCEMENT REQUEST, MICROCOMPUTER SUPPORT
AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - SCT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Service Enhancement Request
between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, and Systems and Computer Technology, Inc., (SCT),
commencing October 1, 1997, and ending September 30, 1998, with further terms and
conditions being as stated in said request, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said request, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Service Enhancement Request between the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and
Systems and Computer Technology, Inc., (SCT), be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said request.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of September, A.D., 1997.

Service Enhancement Request

Onsite Services and Software License Agreement between
Client and Systems and Computer Technology, Inc., dated
November, 1993.
Project: Microcomputer/Network Support
All terms defined in the Agreement and its amendments shall have the same meaning
ascribed to them therein when used in this Service Enhancement Request. Pursuant to
Section 2.2 of the Agreement, Client hereby requests that SCT perform the Supplemental
Services described below. The parties acknowledge that any Supplemental Services to be
performed pursuant to this Service Enhancement Request shall be performed under the
terms and conditions of the Agreement. In addition, unless otherwise set forth below, any
payments to be made by Client to SCT under this Agreement shall be made pursuant to
the terms and conditions of the Agreement. The amounts to be paid by Client to SCT
under this Service Enhancement Request shall be in addition to any other amounts which
Client is obligated to pay SCT under the Agreement.
Description of Supplemental Services:
The services to be provided under this Service Enhancement Request are specified below.
A. Time Frame
Projected Start Date for Services: October 1, 1997
Project End Date for Services: September 30, 1998.
Services
The national average for support of workstations is 125 per technician. We are
currently supporting 747 workstations with 4 technicians. We will provide an
additional FTE for one year in order to provide faster response to calls from the
Departments. The cost ($50,000.00) will be offset by the increase in computer
billing to the Social Services and Human Resources departments due to the
increase in workstations in these departments.

C. Payment
The additional amount to be paid by Client to SCT under this Service
Enhancement Request is $50,000.00. SCT will submit a invoice to Client on a
monthly basis beginning in October, 1997, with twelve equal payments of
$4,167.00 to be paid throughout the duration of the Service Enhancement
Request .
Service Enhancement Request Authorization
Your signature on this Letter of Agreement is required to authorize these additional
services and their associated costs.
