RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Emergency Medical Services
Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jack Statler, Weld County Regional
Communications Center; Darryl Johnston, Tri-Area Ambulance Service representative; Ted
Hoffman, Platte Valley Fire Protection District representative; and Gail James, southwest fire
protection district representative be appointed to said council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gary McCabe, Weld County Ambulance
Services Director; Pat Kern, NCMC representative; Cloyd Conley, City of Greeley Fire Department
Chief; Angie Wiley, Weld County Fire Chiefs' Association; Jon Kushner, Aims Community College
EMS Department representative; Mark Jacoby, northwest fire protection district representative;
Roger Hill, northeast fire protection district representative; and Ken Rosales, southeast fire
protection district representative be reappointed to said council, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint and reappoint the abovenamed
individuals to said council, with their terms to expire December 31, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Jack Statler, Weld County Regional Communications Center; Darryl
Johnston, Tri-Area Ambulance Service representative; Ted Hoffman, Platte Valley Fire Protection
District representative; and Gail James, southwest fire protection district representative be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Weld County Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council, with their
terms to expire December 31, 1995.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Gary McCabe, Weld County Ambulance Services
Director; Pat Kern, NCMC representative; Cloyd Conley, City of Greeley Fire Department Chief;
Angie Wiley, Weld County Fire Chiefs Association; Jon Kushner, Aims Community College EMS
