RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF BILL DELAP TO UNIFORM BUILDING CODE BOARD
OF APPEALS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Bill Delap be appointed to said board, to
replace Mark Leafstedt as the engineer representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Bill Delap to said board, with his
term to expire December 31, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Bill Delap be, and hereby is, appointed to the Uniform Building Code
Board of Appeals, with his term to expire December 31, 2000.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of September, A.D., 1998.
