• TO THE HONORABLE BOARD OP COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
. .I GENTLEMEN:-
- I YouR viewers appointed on the 7th day of April 1906-to vier a county road pray
'ed for in a certain petition presented to your. Honorable body on the above named
day and date, a copy of which has been received by us, viz:-
Commencing at the terminus of the present County Road at the quarter corners

common to sections 21 & 28 Tp. 5N Range 67 W and running thence dub east one and me

half miles along section lines between the SEe section 21 and the NEe section 28
:and also between the Si of section 22 and the Ni of section 27 said township and
. range and terminating at the NEP corner of section 27, Tp. 5N RtmW 67 west.
• Commencing again at the NW corner of section 21 Tp. 5N R 67 lie and running
thence due east a distance of four miles along section lines between sections 16
(2)
and 21'- 15 and 22-- 14 and 23 and 13 and 24 and terminating at the NE corner of
• section 24 Tp. 5N range 67 west.
o Your petit Sonars further pray that all that part of County Road No. 438 that
(3) F' runs north and northeast through section 21 Tp. 5N R 67 Whet be vacated andaban:

Respectfully submit the following report, to-wit:- After receiving our author •

ity to not, we met at thestarting point of said proposed road, on the 17th day of
April A.D. 1906 18.. at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M. being the time and place spec-
ified in our appointment, and proceeded to view the road prayed for in said peti-
tion as follows: We commenced at the starting point named in said petition, and
run as above described; and would respectfully recommend that the prayer of petition
ere be granted and that said roads be laid as follows, viz:- 1st. Commencing at
• . a point 480 feet or 160 yards east'of the SW corner of the SF* of section 21,-Tp.
5N R 67 W; thence running due east about 1440 feet with center of road 30 feet
- north of the south line of said SEE of said section 21; thence in a northeasterly
direction about 480 feet; thence oast about 160 feet; thence southeast for a dis-
tance of about 240 feet td the SE corner of said section 21; thence due east one
mile to the SE corner of reetion 22, Tp. 5N R 67 W. The center of the road for
the last one mile being the section line between said section 22 and 27.
The first 480 feet at the point of beginning being already granted and known
- as County road number 121 the same having been granted July 11 1882.
2nd. We respectfully recommend that the roads number 2 and 3 as above de-
scribed be granted over the lines petitioned for. _ _

RESOLUTION ABANDONING ROAD RIGHT OF WAY.
Commissioner Riggs offered the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
WHEREAS, a petition, signed by all owners of adjoining properties,
requesting that the following described road be vacated ^ and closed has been
filed with the Board of County Commissioners: Beginning at the Northeast
corner of Section 16, Township 5 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. , in
Weld County, Colorado; Thence South along the section line between Sections
15 and 16, said township and range; Thence East along section 3aie between
Sections 15 and 22 to the Southeast corner of Section 15, said township and
range, and
WHEREAS, a county road along the following described centerline has
been opened by ammimisimemme the Board of County Commissioner§ and deeds
for the same have been acquired, recorded and filed: Beginning at the Northeast
,
corner of Southeast Quarter of Southeast Quarter (SEISE*), Section 3, Township
5 North, Range 67 West; Thence South along the East line of Sections 10, 15,
22, 27 and 34 in said Township 5 North, Range 67 West; and continuing South
along the East line of Section 3, Township 4, North, Range 67 West to the
Southeast corner of said Section 3, to join the Johnstown—Milliken road, and
WHEREAS, said road has been improved and better serves the property
owners who have Petitioned the closing of said road as well as other residents
of the Community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That there is hereby declared unnecessary
for public use and abandoned, said road beginning at the Northeast corner of
Section 16, Township 5 North, Range 67 West; Thence South along the section
line between Sections 15 and 16, said township and range; Thence East aidIng
the Section line between Sections 15 and 22, said township and range to the
Southeast corner of Section 15.
Motion seconded by Commissioner Arens and adopted by the following

To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of_. Weld County, Colo.
GENTLEMEN:- We, the undersigned, Citizens of your County, respectfully represent that the necessities
of the public require a County wagon road to be laid out as follows, to-wit: Commencing at
Commencing at the terminus of the present county road at the quar-
ter corners common to sections 21 and 28, Twp. 5N. , Range 67 West and
running thence due East one and one half miles along section lines
between the S.E.; section 21 and the N.E.+ section 28 and also between
the south half of section 22 and the North half of Section 27 said
Township and Range and terminating at the N. E. Corner of section 2'7 ,
Tp. 5N, , Range 67 West.
Commencing again the N. W. Corner of section 21 , Tp. 5N. , Range 67
West and running thence due East a distance of four miles alongsection
lines between sections 16 and 21-• 15 and 22-• 14 and 23 and 13 and 24 and
terminating at the N.E. corner of section 24, Tp. 5N. , Range 67 West.
Your petitioners further pray that all that part of County Road No.
438 that runs North andNortheast through septlon '21 , Tp. 5N. , Range• 67
West be vacated and abandoned for further use.
Said road to be not less than sixty l00) feet in width.
We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid oat and opened a County road as above de-
scribed, and we,the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, ' or?sider9tiol of the
sum of one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of -. _- K
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agree to
give the right of way through our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all
claims for damage by reason thereof
