Tailor-Made for Western Feeding FEE[)S October 11, 1999 To: Weld County Board of Commissioners Re: Ray-Glo Holsteins Expansion To Whom It May Concern, Another of our fine family owned dairy operations is applying for permits to expand their operation. Ray-Go Holsteins is a family owned and operated business that has been in operation for many years. They are and have been pure bred breeders from which our future generations of genetics will continue to come from. They are needed in the dairy business in order lo keep and propagate good foundation bloodlines from which all dairymen will benefit in the future. Granting this permit will hopefully assist another generation to carry on the tradition of the Ray-Glo Holsteins name. I wholeheartedly support their expansion plans. If you have any further questions concerning their operation, please call me at (970) 222-5285 during the day or in the evenings at (303) 857-4510. Weld County is and will continue to be the leader in dairy cattle in the State of Colorado and ranks within the top 100 counties in the United States in milk production. We need more people like the Andersons who are willing to invest in the future of dairy farming in Weld County and Colorado. They have progressively upgraded their operation and continue to excel in the dairy community. As a growing Weld County agri-business,we know what is involved in expansion and growth and being prepared for the future. Weld County Commissioners have issued many special use permits for dairy farm expansion and the Andersons should be added to the growing list. Sincerely, Gerald P.
