HomeMy WebLinkAbout640097.tiffIN THE MATTER OF ALTERING CERTAIN ELECTION PRECINCT BOUNDARIES IN THE CITY OF GREELEY, WELD COUNTY, COLORADO WHEREAS, certain new territory has been annexed to the City of Greeley and WHEREAS, it appears that changes in the boundaries of certain election precincts i-s necessary in order that the newly annexed area may be included in the proper precincts, and it is desirable and necessary that the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, now consider, determine and establish such modifications in the election precincts in the city of Greeley. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that WARD ONE, PRECINCT SIX Ward One, Precinct Six shall comprise all that part of the City of Greeley, bounded by the following described line: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Tenth Street and the center line of Eighteenth Avenue, thence North along the center line of Eighteenth Avenue to its point of intersection with the center line of Fifth Street, thence West along the center line of Fifth Street to its point of intersection with the center line of Twenty -First Avenue, thence North along the center line of Twenty -First Avenue to its point of intersection with the City Lir{its Line of the City of Greeley, thence West along said City Limits Line to its point of intersection with the center line of Twenty -Third Avenues thence South along the center line of Twenty -Third Avenue, being the City Limits Line to a point, thence Northwesterly and Westerly along said City Limits Line to its point of intersection with the South -East corner of Block 1 of Axsom Subdivision, thence North along the East line of Blocks 1 and 2 of Axsom Subdivision to the North-East corner of Block 2, Axsom Subdivision, being also a point on West First 640097 Street, thence Wst along center line of West First Street to North-West corner of Lot 2 of the SW,'4 of the NE% of Section 1, Township 5 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., according to the subdivision of lands by Union Colony of Colorado, thence South along the West line of said Lot 2, and Block One of Weidenkeller Subdivision to a point of inter- section with the City Limits line, thence West along City Limits Line to its intersection with Twenty -Sixth Avenue Court, thence South along said West Line of the Twenty -Sixth Avenue Court to its point of intersection with the South Line of Sixth Street, thence East along the South Line of Sixth Street to the Northwest corner of Lot 4, Block 6, Broadview Acres, Second Addition, thence South along the West Line of said Lot 4, to the Southwest corner thereof; thence East to the center line of Twenty -Sixth Avenue, thence South along the center line of Twenty -Sixth Avenue to its point of inter- section with the center line of West Tenth Street, thence Easterly along the center line of West Tenth Street and Tenth Street to its point of intersection with the center line of Eighteenth Avenue, being the point of beginning. WARD TWO, PRECINCT FIVE Ward Two, Precinct Five shall comprise all that part of the City of Greeley, bounded by the following described line: Commencing - at the point of intersection of the center line of Sixteenth Street and the center line of Fairacres Drive, thence West along the center line of Sixteenth Street to its point of intersection with the center line of Twenty -Third Avenue thence South along the center line of Twenty-third avenue, the city limit line, to the North- East Corner of the First Addition to Cottonwood Village, (Presently Westerly known as Rolling Hills), thence^following the outer boundary lines of the First Addition to Cottonwood Village, (presently known as Rollings Hills), and of Cottonwood Village to a point of inter- section of the Southwesterly boundary line of Cottonwood Village and the center line of West Twentieth Street, thence East along the canter line of West Twentieth Street to its intersection with the center line of Twenty -Third Avenue, thence South along the center line of Twenty -Third Avenue to its point of intersection with the center line of Twentieth Street Road extended, thence Easterly along the center line of the Twentieth Street Road to its point of intersection with the center line of Nineteenth Avenue, thence South along the center line of Nineteenth Avenue to its point of intersection with.the center line of Seventeenth Avenue, thence in a Northeasterly direction along the center line of Seventeenth Avenue to its point of intersection with the center line of Twentieth Street extended, thence East long the center line of Twentieth Street extended to its point of intersection with the center line of Fourteenth Avenue, thence North along the centerline of Fourteenth Avenue to its point of intersection with the center line of Glenmere Boulevard, thence Southwesterly along the center line of Glenmere Boulevard to its point of intersection with the center line of Sixteenth Avenue, thence in a Northerly direction along the center line of Sixteenth Avenue and the center line of Fairacres Drive to its point of intersection with the center line of Sixteenth Street, the point of beginning. EXCEPT the South 200 feet of Lot 30, MontView Park, Weld County, Colorado. WARD 3 PRECINCT 3 Ward 3 Precinct 3 shall comprise all that Part of the City of Greeley bounded by the following described lines: Commencing at the point of intersection of the center line of Thirteenth Avenue, extended, with the South line of Twenty -Eighth Street, thence East to the North-West corner of Tract No. 1 of the North-East Quarter of the North-East Quarter of Section 19-5-65; thence South along the West line of Tract # 1, 660 feet; thence East 508 feet to a point which is 152 feet West -of the East line of Section 19; thence South 148 feet; thence East 152 feet to East line of said Section No. 19; thence South 297.3 feet; thence West 1,316.76 feet to a point on the West Line of the North-East Quarter of the North- East Quarter of said Section No. 19; thence South 314.78 feet to the North-West Corner of the Landmark Subdivision; thence East 1,137 feet; thence South 100 feet; thence East 130 feet to the East line of Section 19; thence South 323.5 feet; thence West 155 feet; thence South 125 feet; thence East 30 feet; thence South 125 feet; thence West 822 feet; thence South -East 117.1 feet; thence West 291.5 feet; thence North 210 feet; thence West 108.5 feet to the West Line of the South -East Quarter of the North-East quarter of said Section No. 19; thence West 50 feet; thence North on the line parallel to and 60 feet from the West line of the South -East Quarter of the North-East Quarter of Section No. 19, 550 feet more or less; thence W,st 1,251 feet, more or less to the West line of the North-East Quarter of said Section No. 19;:_thence North along the West line of North-East Quarter of Said Section No. 19, a distance of 1,428.52 feet, to its point of intersection with South line of Twenty -Eighth Street; thence Nest along South line of Twenty - Eighth Street, to a point of intersection with the center line of T� ntyeFirst Avenue-. extended; t1 Northerly- 7 d2 �� � ., ei'L .,e-n�e{a.; thence- in a- i�Gi�iierty direction on the center line of Twenty -First Avenue to its point of inter- section with the center line of Twenty -Fifth Street; thence in an East and North Easterly direction along center line of Twenty - Fifth Street to its point of intersection with the center line of Seventeenth Avenue; thence East along the center line of Twenty -Fifth Street to its point of intersection with the center line of Thirteenth Avenue; thence South and in a Southerly direction along the center line of Thirteenth Avenue to its point of intersection with the South line of Twenty -Eighth Street which is the point of beginning.
