RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF PUBLIC HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Constantine Skoumbourdis be appointed to said
board, to replace Norma Taylor as an at-large member, and that Melvin Brown, District 5, and
Nancy Fichter, District 6, be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Constantine Skoumbourdis and to
reappoint Melvin Brown and Nancy Fichter to said board, with their terms to expire May 23, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Constantine Skoumbourdis be, and hereby is, appointed to theWeld County
Board of Public Health, with his term to expire May 23, 1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Melvin Brown and Nancy Fichter be, and
hereby is, reappointed to said board, with their terms to expire May 23, 1999.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 22nd day of May, A.D., 1996.
