Dear Mr. Crowther:
Thank you for your recent letter dated November 24, 1997. The Department of Planning Services
staff reviewed your request and determined that an amendment to the special use permit would
need to be applied for and approved to allow the old home to remain on the property. I have
enclosed a procedural guide and application for the amendment processes. As stated in my
previous letter to you dated August 8, 1997, if you choose not to amend the Special Use Permit, •
the old home will need to be removed 30 days after the final Certificate of Occupancy for the new
home.
If you have any questions please call me.
Sincerely,

Dear Ms. Eastin:
Regarding our conversation of November 19, 1997, in which we discussed the issue of
keeping the existing house on this property.
Local renters have families waiting for available apartments. This makes it very difficult
for single employees to find housing. Because of the need for employee housing, we
would like to fix -up the existing structure rather than tear it down.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
Kent S. Crowther

I am applying for this permit to upgrade our housing. The old house on the west,
back by the corrals would be torn down after completion of the new house. The
new house would b built north of the main house and south of the three mobile
homes on the north east corner of our property.
