The Department of Planning Services staff reviewed your request and determined that an amendment to the special use permit would need to be applied for and approved to allow the old home to remain on the property. I have enclosed a procedural guide and application for the amendment processes. As stated in my previous letter to you dated August 8, 1997, if you choose not to amend the Special Use Permit, • the old home will need to be removed 30 days after the final Certificate of Occupancy for the new home. Local renters have families waiting for available apartments. This makes it very difficult for single employees to find housing.
