RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER GEORGE E. BAXTER TO THE
FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner George E. Baxter be
reappointed to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the Federal Emergency
Management Agency Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Commissioner George E. Baxter
to said board, with his term to expire December 31, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioner George E. Baxter be, and hereby is, reappointed to
the Federal Emergency Management Agency Board, with his term to expire December 31,
1998.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of January, A.D., 1998, nunc pro tunc January 1, 1998.
