RE: ESTABLISHING THE NEIGHBORHOOD TO BE SERVED, DESIGNATING A
COMMISSIONER TO MAKE ON-SITE INSPECTION AND SETTING THE HEARING
DATE CONCERNING THE APPLICATION OF SIMON RYU, DBA SIMON'S BAR AND
GRILL, FOR A HOTEL/RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, at a public
meeting on the 18th day of February, 1998, heard evidence to assist said Board in establishing
the neighborhood to be served, designating the Commissioner to make the on-site inspection,
and setting the hearing date concerning the application of Simon Ryu, dba Simon's Bar and
Grill, 3815 Highway 119, Longmont, Colorado 80504, for a Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License,
and
WHEREAS, the Board did determine that the following described area should comprise
the neighborhood to be served concerning said application, to-wit:
ALL OF SECTIONS 2, 3, 10, AND 11, TOWNSHIP 2
NORTH, RANGE 68 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., WELD
COUNTY, COLORADO, WHICH COMPRISES A FOUR
SQUARE MILE AREA
WHEREAS, the Board further determined that Commissioner Webster should be
designated to make the on-site inspection concerning said application, and
WHEREAS, the Board further determined that Chair Harbert should be designated to
make the on-site inspection if Commissioner Webster is unable to do so, and
WHEREAS, the Board further determined that the hearing to consider said application
shall be scheduled for March 11, 1998, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the above described area be, and hereby is, established as the
neighborhood to be served concerning the application of Simon Ryu, dba Simon's Bar and Grill,
for a Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Commissioner Webster be, and hereby
is, designated to make the on-site inspection concerning said application.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Chair Harbert be, and hereby is,
designated as the alternate to make the on-site inspection should Commissioner Webster be
unable to do so.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date concerning said
application be, and hereby is, scheduled for March 11, 1998, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of February, A.D., 1998.
