Thank you for your letter of July 28, 1995. Department of Planning Services' staff reviewed
your letter along with the files for RE -705 and SUP -240 and determined that there are not any
existing Special Use Permits on your property. Your property, as described above, is zoned A
(Agricultural) and the uses permitted on your property are listed in the Weld County Zoning
Ordinance. I have enclosed a copy of the agricultural section of the zoning ordinance for your
convenience.

Dear Ms. Lockwood:
Department of Planning Services' staff reviewed your letter dated April 11, 1994,
and determined the boarding and breeding provisions concerning dogs as put forth
in your letter are in accordance with the approved special use permit. The
letter and discussions with you indicated up to 27 dogs could be housed on the
site for breeding or boarding. Additionally, the conditions of approval for the
above case need to be adhered to.
The third request, to train and board horses for individuals, would require an
amendment to SUP -240. I have included a procedural guide to accomplish this.

Dear Mr. Thompson,
I am sending this letter as requested to inform the county of the
proposed usage of our property.
1. We plan to run an already existing dog boarding kennel with a 15
dog indoor/outdoor set up. Along with the 12 outdoor runs that are
already fenced. There would be a maximum of 27 dogs if we think we
can handle that many.
2. We are also planning to breed Quality AKC German Shepards if we
can find the right temperament and conformation for good show dog
quality.
3. We are planning to train horses for individuals and therefore
will have some boarding involved.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this request and for the
time you have spent on the telephone with me, it has been very
informative for me and saved lots of leg work.
