WELD COUNTY, COLORADO

The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular
session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the
State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial
Center, Greeley, Colorado, March 25, 1996, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chairman and
on roll call the following members were present,
constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
MINUTES: Commissioner Hall moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board
meeting of February 26, 1996, as printed. Commissioner Webster seconded the
motion, and it carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS: CONSIDER SECTION 8 YEAR END SETTLEMENT REPORTS FOR 1995 AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Jim Sheehan, Housing Authority Director, stated
this report must be submitted to HUD and details the expenses and amount of
administrative fees earned under the Certificate and Voucher Programs. He then
reviewed the summary of the reports as detailed in a memo from Judy Griego,
Social Services Director. Commissioner Hall moved to approve said reports and
authorize the Chair to sign. Commissioner Baxter seconded the motion, which
carried unanimously.
CONSIDER HOUSING PRESERVATION GRANT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO
SIGN: Commissioner Baxter moved to approve said grant and authorize the
Chair to sign. The motion, seconded by Commissioner Webster, carried
unanimously.

CONSIDER SECTION 8 ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES: Commissioner Harbert
moved to approve said changes, and Commissioner Hall seconded the motion,
which carried unanimously.
CONSIDER FINANCIAL STATUS REPORT FOR HOUSING PRESERVATION
GRANT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Commissioner Harbert moved to
approve said report and authorize the Chair to sign. Commissioner Webster
seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.
Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to and
respectfully submitted by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
There being no further business, this meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
