This unique maze is a giant map (last year it was 10 acres) of our state. It contains over 200 actual roads and 250 places and towns marked by signs (with interesting historical facts about each.) . There are 4-1/2 actual miles of highways and country roads within the maze. New this year will be landmarks in Washington such as the Space needle, Hanford nuclear site, mountain ranges, Ohme Gardens, and of course the truck stop in Ellensburg, along with other well known visitor stops. Beginning in September we invite schools to come and visit the maze as a field trip / geography lesson. Also available in the summer and fall is our u-pick flower and vegetable patch. We have a large picnic area and a concession stand open on weekends. Cost for field trips to the maze are $3.50 per students no charge for adults and this includes ice cream treats. Weekends rates are $3.00 per person or $12.00 per family (does not include ice cream). Private groups (businesses, churches, clubs, etc.) are welcome Aug 15- Oct. 10th. Imagine doing the Maze by moonlight or flashlight with your group. We also can schedule picnics with or without catering.
