RE: Poudre Trail Committee
Dear Vicki and Committee Members:
Thank you for your request concerning re -appointment to the Poudre
Trail Committee.
I applied originally for the Poudre Trail Committee because it is
something that is badly needed in this area and I wanted to see it
completed in my lifetime so I might use it as well.
The Committee, however, is a small one, requiring all members to be
active in order to accomplish what must be done. During the last
few months of my current term, because of health problems as well
as the pressure of business, I have been unable to devote the time
I feel the Committee needs and deserves.
As much as I would like to remain on the Committee and see this
through to completion, I feel it would be unfair to the other
members of the Committee for me to do that as, for the foreseeable
future, it appears that my time for outside activities will be very
restricted.
This has been a difficult decision to make as I am extremely
interested in seeing the trail come to fruition. In fairness to
the other Committee members, however, I feel I must step down and
allow someone who can devote the necessary time to be appointed.
Thank you very much for your consideration and for appointing me
originally to this Committee. I will be happy to serve as
