RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING ORDINANCE #192-A, IN THE MATTER OF A
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE YEAR 1997
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of August, 1997, Ordinance #192-A was introduced and
emergency approval was requested, and
WHEREAS, Section 3-14(6) of the Weld County Home Rule Charter requires any
ordinance which is declared therein to be an emergency ordinance to be enacted by four -fifths
vote of the Board at the meeting at which it is introduced, and
WHEREAS, two members of the Board were excused on the date of introduction;
therefore, the Board deemed it necessary to table said matter for one week to allow for the full
Board to be present.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Ordinance #192-A be, and hereby is, tabled until August 25, 1997,
at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of August, A.D., 1997.
