RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO LONG TERM CARE BIO-
ETHICS COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Robbyn Wacker be appointed to said board,
to replace Susan Sabas; Mindy Rickert be appointed to replace Juliet Holt; Karyn Prochodo be
appointed to replace Sretta Clark; James Hicks be appointed to replace Judy Knapp; and Dawn
Miller be appointed to replace Sieglinde Donohue, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Terry Kearns, Nancy Jones, Tami Reich,
Jennifer Small Peterson, and Ruth Varallo be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Robbyn Wacker and Mindy Rickert
to said board, with their terms to expire January 1, 2002; appoint Karyn Prochoda, James
Hicks, and Dawn Miller with their terms to expire January 1, 2001; and reappoint Terry Kearns,
Nancy Jones, Tami Reich, Jennifer Small Peterson, and Ruth Varallo with their terms to expire
January 1, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Robbyn Wacker and Mindy Rickert be, and hereby are, appointed
to the Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee, with their terms to expire January 1, 2002.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Karyn Prochoda, James Hicks, and Dawn Miller be, and hereby are, appointed to
the Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee, with their terms to expire January 1, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Terry Kearns, Nancy Jones, Tami Reich, Jennifer Small Peterson, and Ruth
Varallo be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Long Term Care Bio-Ethics Committee, with
their terms to expire January 1, 2002.
