Hall, Chairman Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Pro-Tem Commissioner George E. Baxter Commissioner Constance L. Harbert Commissioner W. H. Webster Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison Planning Department representative, Todd Hodges The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated January 23, 1995, and duly published January 26, 1995, in the Windsor Beacon, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Denver Television, Inc., KDVR, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Special Review Permit for an existing 605 -foot transmission tower and transmitter building to remain on site in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Todd Hodges, Planning Department representative, entered the favorable recommendation of the Planning Commission into the record as written. Commissioner Harbert questioned whether Jack Statler, Weld County Regional Communications Director, would be requesting access to said tower for installation of radio and microwave antenna in the future, as he did during the previous hearing for USR #1072. Mr. Morrison explained this hearing is for an amended Permit, which allows an existing tower to remain. Chairman Hall stated there is an existing tower in north Weld County which is already being used by the Regional Communications Center and noted Mr. Statler is not present. No one was present to represent the applicant, and no public testimony was offered concerning this matter. Commissioner Webster moved to approve the request of Denver Television, Inc., KDVR, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Special Review Permit for an existing 605 -foot transmission tower and transmitter building to remain on site in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, based on the recommendations of the Planning staff and the Planning Commission, with the Conditions of Approval and Development Standards as entered into the record. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Baxter. Mr. Hodges confirmed the applicant has reviewed and agrees with all Conditions of Approval and Development Standards. The motion then carried unanimously. This Certification was approved on the 13th day of February, 1995.
