PRESS RELEASE
In accordance with the Home Rule Charter, the Weld County Council will hold its
next regular meeting Wednesday, January 3, 1996, at 7:30 p.m., in the Centennial
Center's first floor assembly room, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado.
Third graders from Leo. Wm. Butler Elementary School in Ft. Lupton are
planning to meet with the Council to request support of their project for designation
of a Colorado State Insect.
1996 County Council officers will be elected and the 1996 meeting schedule
discussed. The Council will continue its work on a Customer Service Project and the
County Council's 20th Anniversary. Policies for the following topics are also on the
agenda: public comments at Council meetings, conflict of interest issues, and
parliamentary procedure.
The public is invited to attend the Council meeting and provide ideas on any
issues concerning County government. Please call the Council office at 356-4000 ext.
4780 if more information is needed.
