LOCATION Island Grove Park, Block 1$4, Greeley, Colorado
Cast Iron Boiler No. 1/Co1o6253, Bryant
Inspected externally while in service.
Boiler Piping.
This boiler has a submerged type low water cut-off. It should be
removed from the boiler at this time for cleaning and annually
hearafter.
The McDonnell 47 feeder is equipped with a low water cut-off
auxiliary switch which is not wired. This switch should be wired
to give additional low water protection. The control should also
be dismantled and cleaned now and annually hereafter.
It was said the previous insurance inspector just made an inspetion.
If no state report was turned in, please use this one for the correct
report.
The condition outlined was discussed with Mr. L. W. Benjamin, Mainte
Man, at the time of inspection and we understand it will receive
proper attention.
Fire Tube Fitzgibbons Boiler No. 1/Colo6061
Inspected externally while not in service.
Boiler Piping.
The McDonnell Miller 47 feeder and low water cut-off works properly.
This control however should be dismantled each season for cleaning
and overhaul.
No other conditions were observed that require consideration at this
time.
