AGRICULTURAL SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT (GRAIN AND SEED CLEANING AND
PROCESSING FACILITY) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - JIM
HERGENREDER AND MIKE STONEHOCKER
A public hearing was conducted on May 1, 1996, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Chris Goranson
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated April 8, 1996, and duly published April 18, 1996, in
the North Weld Herald, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Jim Hergenreder
and Mike Stonehocker for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for an
agricultural service establishment (grain and seed cleaning and processing facility) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of
record. Chris Goranson, Planning Department representative, presented a brief summary of the
proposal and entered the favorable recommendation of the Planning Commission into the record
as written. Jim Hergenreder, applicant, was present and stated he lives about one mile from the
site. He clarified the fire department may require them to build a pond for water, with which there
is no problem. He confirmed they will continue to work with the fire department and all Conditions
of Approval and Development Standards are acceptable. No public testimony was offered
concerning this matter. Commissioner Baxter moved to approve the request of Jim Hergenreder
and Mike Stonehocker for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for an
agricultural service establishment (grain and seed cleaning and processing facility) in the
A(Agricultural)Zone District, based on the recommendations of the Planning staff and the Planning
Commission, with the Conditions of Approval and Development Standards as entered into the
record. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Harbert, and it carried unanimously.
