Home My WebLink About972384.tiffs9/ RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE INCREASED FEE SCHEDULE FOR FEES COLLECTED BY THE WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING SERVICES FOR PROCESSING AND REVIEWING LAND -USE PERMIT APPLICATIONS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 10th day of December, 1997, at 9:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of considering an increased fee schedule for fees collected by the Weld County Department of Planning Services for processing and reviewing land - use permit applications, and WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable to approve the proposed fee schedule, effective January 1, 1998, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the increased fee schedule for fees collected by the Weld County Department of Planning Services for processing and reviewing land -use permit applications be, and hereby is, approved, effective January 1, 1998. You will note that the overall change to the fee structure is revenue neutral with the exception of the $50.00 fee for the Certificate of Compliance (COC). The COC permits have been available in Weld County for several years. However, an increasing number of problems have arisen because staff did not field check these sites to determine compliance with all county regulations.
