RE: APPROVE CHANGE IN SIGNING AUTHORITY FOR COLORADO DIVISION OF
CRIMINAL JUSTICE GRANT TO WELD COUNTY COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS BOARD
OF INPATIENT SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT/DIVERSION AND AUTHORIZE
CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Change in Signing Authority for Inpatient
Substance Abuse Treatment/Diversion Program between the County of Weld, State of Colorado,
by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County
Community Corrections Board, and Colorado Division of Criminal Justice, with terms and conditions
being as stated in said Change in Signing Authority, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said Change in Signing
Authority, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Change in Signing Authority for Inpatient Substance Abuse
Treatment/Diversion Program between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Community
Corrections Board, and Colorado Division of Criminal Justice, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said Change in Signing Authority.

Enclosed are two copies of DCJ Form 4-B, Change in Signing Authority, as it
applies to Grant No. 93-DB-13-43-1. This is the Grant that was awarded to the
Community Corrections Board to fund Diversion clients in the substance abuse
treatment program. This is a simple formality for the Division of Criminal
Justice's Grant records.
