RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO WELD COUNTY AREA
AGENCY ON AGING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Area Agency on Aging, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Laurel Belau, John Espinosa, Shirley lanelli,
and Marguerite Scott be appointed to said agency to replace Donald Shedd, Renee Gonzales, A.
Warren Holm, and Pedro Rucobo, respectively, and
WHEREAS, it has also been recommended that Priscilla Kimboko be reappointed to said
agency, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Laurel Belau, John Espinosa, Shirley
lanelli, and Marguerite Scott to said agency, with their terms to expire January 31, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the Board also deems it advisable to reappoint Priscilla Kimboko to said
agency, with her term to expire January 31, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Laurel Belau, John Espinosa, Shirley lanelli, and Marguerite Scott be, and
hereby is, appointed to the Area Agency on Aging, with their terms to expire January 31, 1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Priscilla Kimboko be, and hereby is,
reappointed to said agency, with her term to expire January 31, 1999.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1996.
