RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO UNIFORM BUILDING CODE
BOARD OF APPEALS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mark Leafstedt be appointed and Karl Schmidt
and Doug Round be reappointed to said Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Mark Leafstedt as the engineer
representative, with his term to expire December 31, 1996; and to reappoint Karl Schmidt as the
contractor representative and Doug Round as the fire department representative to said board, with
their terms to expire December 31, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Mark Leafstedt be, and hereby is, appointed to the Uniform Building Code
Board of Appeals with his term to expire December 31, 1996.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Karl Schmidt and Doug Round be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals with their terms to expire
December 31, 1997.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 16th day of January, A.D., 1995.
