The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular
session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the
State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial
Center, Greeley, Colorado, January 26, 1998, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following
members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner George E. Baxter, Chair
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert, Pro-Tern
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Finance and Administration Director, Don Warden
MINUTES: Commissioner Webster moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority
Board meeting of December 22, 1997, as printed. Commissioner Baxter
seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.
BUSINESS:
NEW: CONSIDER CONTRACT FOR THE COMPUTERIZED HOUSING AUTHORITY
SYSTEM AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Jim Sheehan, Department of
Social Services, stated under this contract Aquidneck Computer Concepts, Inc.,
will provide services, delivery, installation, implementation, training, and
maintenance of a new microcomputer-based system to support the Housing
Authority's computer programs. Commissioner Baxter moved to approve said
contract and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by Commissioner
Kirkmeyer, the motion carried unanimously.

CONSIDER CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Mr. Sheehan stated the purpose of this contract
is to replace six different project numbers with three new project numbers in the
amounts of$132,146, $126,632, and $277,243. Commissioner Webster moved
to approve said contract and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by
Commissioner Kirkmeyer, the motion carried unanimously.
CONSIDER THREE GENERAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENTS FOR
SERVICES WITH VARIOUS ENTITIES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN:
Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to approve said agreements with A Woman's
Place, Inc., Catholic Charities Northern, and the Greeley Transitional House,
and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by Commissioner Baxter, the motion
carried unanimously.
Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to
and respectfully submitted by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
There being no further business, this meeting was adjourned at 9:30 a.m.
