RE: APPROVE MICROCOMPUTER SUPPORT SERVICE ENHANCEMENT REQUEST
AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - SYSTEMS AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY,
INC. (SCT)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Microcomputer Support Service
Enhancement Request between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and Systems and Computer Technology, Inc.
(SCT), commencing January 1, 2000, and ending December 31, 2008, with further terms and
conditions being as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said agreement, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Microcomputer Support Service Enhancement Request
between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, and Systems and Computer Technology, Inc. (SCT) be, and
hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 22nd day of December, A.D., 1999.

Service Enhancement Request
Name of Client: Weld County
Date of Request: December 17, 1999
Related Agreement: Onsite Services and Software License Agreement between
Client and Systems and Computer Technology, Inc., dated
November 1993.
Project: Microcomputer/Network Support - Renewal of SER001
All terms defined in the Agreement and its amendments shall have the same meaning
ascribed to them therein when used in this Service Enhancement Request. Pursuant to
Section 2.2 of the Agreement, Client hereby requests that SCT perform the
Supplemental Services described below. The parties acknowledge that any
Supplemental Services to be performed pursuant to this Service Enhancement Request
shall be performed under the terms and conditions of the Agreement. In addition,
unless otherwise set forth below, any payments to be made by Client to SCT under this
Agreement shall be made pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Agreement. The
amounts to be paid by Client to SCT under this Service Enhancement Request shall be
in addition to any other amounts which Client is obligated to pay SCT under the
Agreement.
Description of Supplemental Services:
The services to be provided under this Service Enhancement Request are specified
below.
A. Time Frame
Projected Start Date for Services: January 1, 2000
Project End Date for Services: December 31, 2008
Services
Microcomputer/Network Support Services will assist with the installation and
support of microcomputers. Specific responsibilities will be installation of
desktop equipment, installation of client software, configuration of
microcomputers, problem solving for users, assistance with network related
problems, and user desktop software training for the existing in-scope
departments as defined in the main contract. This SER provides for 12
person months of service annually through the timeframe noted above.

C. Payment
The additional amount to be paid by the Client to SCT under this Service
Enhancement Request will contain a fixed 3% COLA, which will be applied
each year effective on January 1 of each contract year. SCT will submit an
invoice to the Client on a monthly basis beginning in January 2000 in twelve
equal monthly payments based on the annual payment schedule listed below.
