Dear Head Start Grantees:
Region VIII
Federal Office Building
1961 Stout Street
Denver, CO 80294-3538
We have moved into an age of electronic communications where
computers are rapidly becoming a necessary tool for the completion
of work activities. As we are compelled towards a complicated and
dynamic time of information exchange, computers will assist us in
the accurate and rapid interchange of critical information. We now
have access lb a global network of information and data via the
internet.
In an effort to assist you with this transition to the "information
age", we have added a Computer Specialist to our staff. He will
work with your Head Start Program Specialist to assist you by
answering any questions that you might have regarding the purchase,
comparisons, capabilities, and of course cost of computers. If
funds are available, the computer specialist will make on -site
visits, to assist you with installation of computer systems,
networks and other computer needs. I hope that you will make use
of this valuable resource that is being made available to you.
The Computer Specialist's name is Jerome Myles and he can be
reached at (303) 844-3100 Ext. 302. If you have any questions
please contact me, Jerome or your program specialist. We look
forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
J.
