(PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT FOR 600 -800 LOTS WITH RESIDENTIAL
AND COMMERCIAL USES - SIEGRIST COMPANIES c/o TUTTLE APPLEGATE, INC.
A public hearing was conducted on September 22, 1999, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Dale K. Hall, Chair
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner M. J. Geile
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated September 8, 1999, and duly published
September 11, 1999, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the
request of Siegrist Companies for a Change of Zone, Z#528, from A (Agricultural) Zone District
to PUD (Planned Unit Development) District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this
a matter of record. Ben Patton, Department of Planning Services, stated water, sewer and traffic
issues need to be addressed, therefore, the applicant is requesting a continuance. Responding
to Commissioner Kirkmeyer, Mr. Patton explained ongoing water and sewer availability and
documentation needs to be submitted, also the traffic study has not been completed to the
satisfaction of the Department of Public Works. Mr. Patton presented a copy of a letter from the
applicant requesting continuance to October 27, 1999. Commissioner Kirkmeyer stated that these
issues often require more than a month, therefore, she moved to continue this matter to November
17, 1999, at 10 a.m. Commissioner Geile seconded the motion. Mr. Patton clarified the applicant
has provided to the County Attorney documentation for water and sewer, however, the
documentation needs to be augmented to be suitable: and the traffic study needs to be further
addressed by the applicant in response to the Department of Public Works. The motion carried
unanimously.
