RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS AND APPOINTMENT TO WELD COUNTY
PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Placement Alternatives
Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mika Hoover, John Rocha, Sue Ruth, and
Michael Escobar be reappointed to said commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jennifer Rudner be appointed to replace
Joe Murphy as the Probation -Public representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Mika Hoover, John Rocha, Sue
Ruth, and Michael Escobar, and to said commission, with their terms to expire December 31,
1999, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Jennifer Rudner to said
commission, with her term to expire December 31, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Mika Hoover, John Rocha, Sue Ruth, and Michael Escobar be,
and hereby are, reappointed; and Jennifer Rudner be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld
County Placement Alternatives Commission, with their terms to expire December 31, 1999.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 6th day of January, A.D., 1997.
