RE: SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1121 FOR AN
ACCESSORY BUILDING LARGER THAN 1,500 SQUARE FEET (3,750 SQUARE FEET)
TO BE USED AS STORAGE FOR FARM EQUIPMENT AND TO HOUSE FARM ANIMALS
IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -ANTHONY GASPAROVICH
A public hearing was conducted on September 4, 1996, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Kern Keithley
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated August 14, 1996, and duly published August 22,
1996, in the North Weld Herald, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Anthony
Gasparovich for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for an accessory
building larger than 1,500 square feet (3,750 square feet)to be used as storage for farm equipment
and to house farm animals in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County
Attorney, made this a matter of record. Kerri Keithley, Planning Department representative,
presented a brief summary of the proposal and entered the favorable recommendation of the
Planning Commission into the record as written. Ms. Keithley clarified that only agricultural
equipment and/or animals may be stored on site; no commercial or industrial uses are allowed.
She also confirmed the Special Use will actually be on Lot 10; however, the applicant also owns
the adjacent Lot 5. Anthony Gasparovich, applicant, stated a prefabricated building will replace an
existing lean-to, and he agreed to all Conditions of Approval and Development Standards. No
public testimony was offered concerning this matter. Commissioner Harbert moved to approve the
request of Anthony Gasparovich for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit
for an accessory building larger than 1,500 square feet (3,750 square feet) to be used as storage
for farm equipment and to house farm animals in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, based on the
recommendations of the Planning staff and the Planning Commission, with the Conditions of
Approval and Development Standards as entered into the record. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Webster, and it carried unanimously.
