WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company has tendered to Weld County, Colo-
rado, an agreement extending to and including November 3 Q 19.14, terminating the
term of that certain lease dated December 1 , 19 48, as extended, Union
Pacific Railroad Company leased to Weld County, Colorado, a portion of its right-of-
way at Ault , Colorado, covering use of site for storage and mixing
of .roaa repair materials , as follows, to-wit:

Effective Date: December 1, 1948
Expiration Date: December 1 , 1949
Supplements, including extension riders:
Dates: September 22, 1949; November 30, 1950; September 26, 1951;
October 3, 1952; October 15, 1953; November 4, 1954;
October 6, 1955; October 19, 1956; October 14, 1957;
October 22, 1958; November 30, 1959.
Expiration date by latest extension: December 1, 1964
and
WHEREAS, the Board has said proposed agreement before it and has given it care-
ful review and consideration, and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of said County will be sub-
served by the acceptance of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado; that the terms of the agreement submitted by Union Pacific Railroad
Company as aforesaid be and the same hereby are accepted _in behalf of Weld County,
Colorado; that the Chairman of the Board be and is hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to execute said agreement on behalf of said County, and that the Clerk to the
Board be and is hereby authorized and directed to attest said agreement ano to attach
to each duplicate original of said agreement a certified copy of this resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopt-
ed by the following vote:
