RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF ROD DEROO TO 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE
AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the 911 Emergency Telephone Authority
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Rod DeRoo be appointed to said board, to
replace Dave Bressler, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Rod DeRoo to said board, with his
term to expire January 9, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Rod DeRoo be, and hereby is, appointed to the 911 Emergency
Telephone Authority Board, with his term to expire January 9, 2001.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 17th day of February, A.D., 1999.
