Home My WebLink About960088.tiff RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS MINUTES HOUSING AUTHORITY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO JANUARY 22, 1996 TAPE #96-02 The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial Center, Greeley, Colorado, January 22, 1996, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chairman and on roll call the following members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof: Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tem Commissioner Dale K. Hall Commissioner Constance L. Harbert Commissioner W. H. Webster Also present: County Attorney, Bruce Barker Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller Finance and Administration Director, Don Warden MINUTES: Commissioner Hall moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board meeting of December 27, 1995, as printed. Commissioner Baxter seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: CONSIDER HOME QUARTERLY NARRATIVE PERFORMANCE REPORT, CDBG HOUSING PROJECTS, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Jim Sheehan, Housing Authority Director, stated this progress report for the HOME housing rehabilitation program is for the quarter ending December 31, 1995, and will be submitted to the State Division of Housing. He stated four single-family, owner-occupied projects have been completed, and the goal for the project is ten units. Mr. Sheehan explained one rental rehabilitation project is in the bid process, and the goal for rental rehabilitation is four units. He noted the project will run through May 15, 1996, and stated he expects the goals will be met through this program; therefore, he recommended approval. Commissioner Baxter moved to approve said report and authorize the Chair to sign. Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. 960088 N/9 J`_S.5 BC0016 CONSIDER APPLICANT STATEMENT OF ASSURANCES AND CERTIFICATIONS FOR HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Mr. Sheehan explained this final certification will replace a generic one originally submitted to the State Division of Housing to comply with HUD requirements. He stated this is basically a housekeeping issue and recommended approval. Commissioner Hall moved to approve said statement and authorize the Chair to sign. The motion, seconded by Commissioner Webster, carried unanimously. Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to and respectfully submitted by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
