Sheri, please be advised that CDOT has received the access application and plans for the above proposal.
CDOT has committed to allow an access to the sand/gravel operation and a location has been
determined. We are currently working on specifics of design, and are committed to issuing a permit as
soon as all the required information has been reviewed.

DEAR SHERI, THE REVISED DUST ABATEMENT PLAN HAS INCLUDED THE CHANGES THAT THE
DEPARTMENT REQUESTED IN MY MEMO DATED MAY 25, 1999. THE REVISED DUST
ABATEMENT PLAN IS APPROVED.
IN ADDITION, SAND LAND HAS ALSO FILED THEIR AIR POLLUTION EMISSION NOTICES (APEN)
WITH THE COLORADO DEPT OF PUBLIC HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT'S AIR POLLUTION CONTROL
DIVISION AS REQUIRED. THE APENS WERE RECIEVED ON JUNE 28, 1999 AND PERMITTING IS IN
PROCESS.
