HomeMy WebLinkAbout992472.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACCEPT PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 84 BETWEEN WELD COUNTY ROADS 51 AND 53 AND REFER TO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners received a petition from Roy and Janet Dyer, Dillard Family LLC, and Herschel and Marjorie Dillard, to vacate a portion of Weld County Road 84 between Weld County Roads 51 and 53, subject to dedicated and recorded easements and rights-of-way, said road being fully described as follows: The public road right-of-way lying 30 feet on either side of the section line between the E1/2 of Sections 5 and 8, Township 7 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to refer said petition to the Department of Public Works for review, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the petition of Roy and Janet Dyer, Dillard Family LLC, and Herschel and Marjorie Dillard, to vacate a portion of Weld County Road 84 between Weld County Roads 51 and 53 which is described above be, and hereby is, accepted and referred to the Department of Public Works. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of October, A.D., 1999.
