RE: "Not Sufficient Funds" Check
On September 27, 1996, the Weld County Clerk to the Board received a check in the sum of $75
from Rewards Bar and Grill to pay for the fee for Michelle Johnson's Managers Registration
Form. The check was signed by Robert Kline. It has been returned unpaid in the status of "Not
Sufficient Funds" ("NSF").
Please be advised that I will recommend to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
that it not issue the liquor license to Michelle Johnson, d/b/a Michelle's Saloon, until such time
as the $75 is paid in full with a certified check. Furthermore, I will submit this letter and the
enclosed copy of the NSF check to the Weld County District Attorney's Office for its review for
possible criminal prosecution.
