Members Present Don Carroll Public Works Department Jerry Adams Greeley Gas Also Present: Ben Patton, Department of Planning Services; Jeanne Gelvin, Applicant; Les Gelvin, Applicant; Steve Stencel, Representative for the Applicant; Trisha Swanson, Secretary. CASE NUMBER: S-505 PLANNER: Ben Patton APPLICANT: Les Gelvin LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot A of RE-1723, situated in part of the NE 1/4 of Section 7, Township 7 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado. REQUEST: Final Plat for a 4-lot Minor Subdivision-Remington Place LOCATION: West of and adjacent to Weld County Road 15; approximately '/ mile North of State Highway 14. Ben Patton, Planner, Presented Case S-505. Ben stated that Gary Sandau, La Salle Fire Protection District, had called and requested a fire hydrant on the subdivision. Les Gelvin, Applicant, agreed to this. Ben also mentioned that the 40 foot easement shown on the property was not a problem, but wanted the applicant to know that only a 20 foot total was needed. Don Carroll, Public Works, asked where the fire hydrant would be placed. Les Gelvin stated that it would be placed adjacent to WCR 15. Don mentioned that they may want to call Don Somers in Public Works to make sure that it is out of the Right of Way. Jerry Adams, Greeley Gas, said that the plat looked okay form a gas utility standpoint if they were going to bring the line out later. Jerry mentioned to applicant the possible ways to get the gas line extended the extra '/ mile and that a refund could be received with each additional meter set added after by another user. Gary Sandau, La Salle Fire Protection District, had called with his approval if the fire hydrant wa s added to the subdivision. Cody Wooldridge, Central Weld Water, called that he didn't have any problems with the plat and approved the plat. Les Gelvin, Applicant, stated that North Weld Water had asked for a small piece of land, but he was going to find out what they would like and get back to Ben later that afternoon. Jerry Adams and Don Carroll approved the plat with the changes noted to the fire hydrant. Gary Sandau and Cody Wooldridge both approved the play with the addition of the fire hydrant.
