HomeMy WebLinkAbout970139.tiffRESOLUTION RE: APPROVE QUARTERLY NARRATIVE PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR HOUSING REHABILITATION/REPLACEMENT HOUSING PROJECT TO COLORADO DIVISION OF HOUSING AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quarterly Narrative Performance Report for Housing Rehabilitation/Replacement Housing Project, from the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Housing Authority, to the Colorado Division of Housing, for the period from October 1, 1996, to December 31, 1996, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said report, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, ex -officio Housing Authority Board, that the Quarterly Narrative Performance Report for Housing Rehabilitation/Replacement Housing Project, from the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Housing Authority, to the Colorado Division of Housing be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said report. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of January, A.D., 1997, nunc pro tunc October 1, 1996. What has been undertaken and/or completed during the reporting period? How does this progress relate to the contract scope of services (units in process, construction schedule?) Two unit are currently under contract through the housing rehabilitation project.. Work is being delayed until the homeowners clean up their properties Three additional applications are being processed. Preparations are being made for the replacement housing project in Milliken. The owner of the property is clearing the site for a manufactured housing unit to be located on the site. A request for bids has been undertaken with the deadline set for acceptance of bids on January 31, 1997 2. What will be undertaken and/or completed during the NEXT reporting period? How does this progress relate to the contract scope of service. Two units will be completed. Three additional units will be under contract with work progressing. 3. Have any complaints been received or have problems or issues developed related to financial management, environmental review, civil rights, labor standards, displacement/acquisition/ relocation or other matters? If so, how have these complaints been resolved? We will continue to monitor cost of the projects to assure that adequate funds remain to accomplish production goals. Baxter, Chair, Board of County Commissioners FROM: Judy Griego, Director, Department of Social Services SUBJECT: CDBG Quarterly Report DATE: January 23, 1997 As discussed at the Housing Authority Work Session of January 20, 1997, the State Division of Housing requires the submission of a quarterly progress report for the CDBG housing rehabilitation program.. The report for the quarter ending December 31, 1997, is attached. Two units are currently under contract for the housing rehabilitation program. Work is being delayed until the homeowners clean up their properties. Three additional applications are being processed. Preparations are being made for the replacement housing project in Milliken. A request for bids has been undertaken with the deadline set for January 31, 1997 Marketing of each program will continue to be implemented in order to meet project goals.
