Subject: Martin Subdivision (Buffalo Ridge Estates)
This is a follow-up memorandum to the Commissioner's hearing dated September 4, 1996. The
following comments are recommended to be a part of any approval:
1. The applicant needs to revise the typical section for the external and internal road section on
Sheet 2 of 2 to reflect the depth and width of asphalt base and shoulders.
2. On September 6, 1996, Drew Scheltinga and I met with John Martin and his contractor to
discuss the off-site and internal road systems. At that meeting we supplied a sample of a
Road Maintenance and Improvement Agreement used for the Dos Rios project. The
agreement needs to be executed prior the final hearing.
3. The County agreed to perform the soil sampling and help Mr. Martin with the base and
asphalt design for the external roads, which are WCR 35 and WCR 10.
